Here is just a couple of interesting items we have...
Lot 301 - An antique Persian carpet - removed from a Cambridge College, possibly early 20th century from North West Persia - 8.45metres x 4.33 metres - finely woven with approx 15000 knots per sq. metre - wool pile knotted on a cotton warp foundation with two thin locking weft threads per row, rather hard wool pile cut very flat to give excellent clarity - the rug is in reasonable condition for its age but damaged in some areas, the pile is unevenly worn and several low areas indicate pile corrosion, there are no dramatic colour variations, with old restorations - Provenance - Tabriz is most likely origin of the carpet, nearby Najafabad of Sarouq - There are two similar rugs , The Ardabil, which hang in the V and A museum and one in Los Angeles
Lot 350 - Laurence Stephen Lowry, British 1887-1976, Station approach lithograpgh in colour, signed in pencil bottom right, Fine Art Trade Guild blindstamp, letters BJJ number 178 of 850, picture size 43x52cm, frame size 66x74cm, colours good in overall good condition - please note Artists Resale Rights apply to this lot

A trio of 1914/18 to 2063 Pte Later 2nd Lieutenant P Windridge - 1914 Mons, Star with bar 5th August to 22nd November 1914 - British War medal - Victory Medal 1914/18 - and a school attendance 1906/07 medal and roseary
1939/45 Group of five - 1939/45 Star - Africa Star - Italy Star - Defence medal - War medal 1939/45 - with box and dog tag to J L Fairley 636515
