Probate Valuations
One of the most common reasons for seeking a house contents valuation is the death of a loved one, relative or close friend. We work closely with legal professionals providing probate valuations at all levels of complexity in compliance with HMRC and Section 160 of the Inheritance Tax Act (1984). We will complete, in a timely and effective fashion, a detailed inventory and valuation to finalise a deceased estate.
As we host regular auctions we are best qualified to identify and value chattels.
We offer a fixed price Valuation for Probate Service, which is £250 + VAT within a 20 mile radius of Willingham Auctions, this charge is slightly increased for visits further afield or if detailed research is needed
We can also arrange house clearances with our partners. Contact us now for confidential advice.

Insurance Valuations
The value of antiques, art and collectables can increase as well as decrease, often without the owner being aware of such changes in the market place, so it is prudent to have an up-to-date valuation of one's possessions every three to five years. We can offer a personal, confidential, professional and discreet service made to order.
The charge for this is £50 per hour including travel and preparation of the report
